Trial ... If a trial is required I always prefer if possible to do my wedding trials in my salon in Southend . That way I have all my tools and equipment to hand. I charge 50.00 for this and can take 1-3 hours depending on ideas. I suggest doing a collection of tearsheets for hair & makeup or using pintrest to collect ideas and inspiration for the look you want . If you have a head dress / veil / tiara bring it with you if possible.
For my balearic weddings a phone consultation and or face time or skype is fine if you do not live reasonably close or in the uk.
Fake Tan ….. If you are planning to apply fake tan, or to have a spray tan before your Wedding Day it is a good idea to have it applied before your Wedding Trial too. if you haven’t tanned before your trial but plan to on the day please make sure u tell me.
Eyebrows ….. Make sure ur eyebrows are looking neat as this is one of the most important and defining features of your face. I am a fully qualified official HD Brow Stylist and offer this treatment from my home . i recommend having 7-3 days before your wedding.
Hair Cuts & Colour….. Please try to get ur hair done 1-2 weeks before the wedding so its in tip top condition and the colour is crisp.
What to wear…. Please try to make sure yourself and any other members of your wedding party are wearing a button up top or something that won’t ruin your hair or makeup when getting dressed.
To wash or not to wash …. Please try to make sure yourself and any other members of your wedding party that are having a hair up-do with me to please wash there hair and condition as normal on the morning of the wedding as well as the trial ! i can add product to hair that is flyaway. Also blow dry to a decent finish ( or at least make it 100% dry) This saves me lots of time which is often precious on the day.
Hair pieces/ Extentions… I’m happy to add hair extensions if a more dramatic or fuller style is required . These need to be human hair and matched well to your natural hair. I can advise you on the best places to buy these from.
Final note…. Its really great if we can sit at a dressing table or somewhere with a little space i also have a high chair i can bring with me if its needed for makeup. I always try to make the experience with me as stress free as possible so it can really help if its possible to have someone (mum or bridesmaid ) around to help run errands for you and answer calls ect. then you can relax before you enjoy your fabulous day.
